Intoxicated Racers Kill Innocent Man in a Morning Car Collision

Two drivers racing eastbound along Interstate 10 near Westmont Exit caused an accident on the morning of August 11th, leaving one man dead.

The Incident

As two vehicles raced on the highway, one of the speeding cars collided into the back of another vehicle, causing the driver to lose control and spin off the road. The car landed on a patch of grass off of the interstate. The victim did not survive but the suspect remained uninjured.

The driver was intoxicated and arrested on site. The charges have not yet been determined. Two other drivers that attempted to pass through the accident site were determined to be intoxicated and detained as well.
